Week One – 2013 Build

Following brainstorming the build team got busy with building the prototyping.  We quickly got a sense of how much smaller this year’s robot was going to be than previous seasons.  The build team first tested two different styles of shooters- a straight belt shooter and a curved shooter. The team also decided on using a four-wheel shiftable drive train. Once the prototype was complete the build team divided into three sub-teams:  1) drive train and frame. 2) frisbee shooter. 3) robotic arm for picking up frisbees.
